Delete your account

You can delete your Tavolata account at any time. The fastest way is from inside the app. It takes effect immediately.

From the app

1. Open Tavolata and sign in.
2. Open the Crew tab.
3. Tap the ••• button on your profile card at the top.
4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have access to the app

Email from the address you registered with, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and process it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile (display name, language preference, last-active timestamp), your recipes (titles, descriptions, ingredients, steps, tags, source URLs), your swipes and matches, your push notification tokens, and your crew memberships.

What stays

Recipes that other crew members have already saved into their own libraries remain with them. Crews you created stay in place if other members are still in them; you are simply removed.

Backups

Encrypted database backups are kept by our hosting provider for up to 30 days for disaster recovery, then expire automatically. Deleted data cannot be restored from these backups on request.
